Rafie got me an Black Onyx ring that i was eyeing on for our 4th mth ani, it was funnie how he gave me the ring... I was rubbing the usual ring i had while we were watching Garfield 2 and he said take it off coz it seemed uncomfy for me, and suddenly after that he slipped on the ring he bought. He went to woodlands to get it, god am i touched >.<" thanks for everything! It totally smitten me >.< And he spent so much that day on me, i feel guilty X_X

Onyx is a variety of chalcedony, a type of quartz that is composed of layers of darker and clearer colours ranging from cream white, pale brown to reddish brown (a variety of onyx known as sardonyx) and black . More specifically, black onyx, known as black agate, is a black gem stone with thin stratums of white. Most stones found on the market originate from mines in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, India and Madagascar. Jewelry artists around the world appreciate black onyx because is particularly suitable for carving and engraving work.
Black onyx was a very popular and widespread gem in the Antiquity. It was called after the Greek word "onux" meaning "fingernail", because its cream white lines recall the colour of fingernails, and also because it is related to a symbolical legend. Indeed, in Greek and Roman mythology, EROS (or CUPID) visited his mother APHRODITE or VENUS, goddess of love and beauty, while she was sleeping, and trimmed her fingernails with the help of an arrow. The three FATES, who were assigned to give men and women life, destiny and death, collected the bits of fingernails and changed them into onyx stones, preventing even the lesser parts of the goddess’ body from decay.
Black onyx is believed to hold powerful properties related to protection and vigour. Warriors used to wear black onyx in order to be strong enough to defeat their adversaries. In most religions, rosaries (strings of beads that allow prayer counting) were made of black onyx over the centuries. In India, in the region of Agra, one can visit the Kanch Mahal where there is a black onyx statue of MAHAVIRA, who was a prince born in the sixth century BC. All his life long, he preached barefoot across India. His name is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning "brave". Black onyx is also associated to witchcraft, and sometimes to black magic. In the post-Victorian Age, it became the mourning stone on memorial jewelry.
Black onyx gems can make very effective worry stones, which help people to get rid of their fears, anxieties, nightmares and recurrent thoughts: the person is supposed to hold the stone and visualise haunting thoughts being captured by it, and becoming harmless. It is advised to use fresh water to cleanse the stone, especially when given to somebody else or when it seems "full". Black onyx is believed to enhance sportspersons’ energy, when it is worn as a pendant near the solar plexus in particular. It has protective properties for couples, and it is a gem for self-control and self-centring. Nevertheless it may have a negative influence when it is worn too long, attracting sadness, fear and boredom.
Black onyx is widely used for cameo and intaglio carving, and jewelry artists often employ its elegant, shiny and dark features in order to enhance the qualities of brighter gem stones, such as diamonds, rubies, emeralds etc… Sparkling flowery earring motifs with a black heart and colourful petals, classy gold rings studded with diamond and black onyx gems, or plain black onyx crystal point pendants: everyone can find his or her own black onyx treasure.

Woah been nearly a month of absence, time passes so fast these days and it keeps getting faster. Quite scary I would say, if all go smooth I would be out of here in less than 2 mths, time is something so immeasurable and fast. This coming Thursday am having my internal exam, its for the internal exam that I missed nearly a mth ago. Isn't it fast, like a mth ago... Too fast I would say, been trying to practice hard these days but yeah kinda have no mood or what so ever, moreover the moody weather ain't helping that much -_-".
Went down to asteroids a couple of weeks ago juzt to visit Chris n co. And we saw this beautiful place, nice eh~ kinda like the windows. Marine parade has like one of those few beautiful houses, we noticed one in particular with a swimming pool up on the roof ( a penthouse ) woah its like my dream apartment >.<"
Was out with Ben a 2 weeks ago and we went down to this building opposite paradiz centre, where theres tons of comic stuff and anime toys and figurines, the whole building seems dedicated to it. Can't remember the name though *ponder* but hehe I manage to buy something from there, I so didn't want to spend but can't help not wanting it...
It has this bobbling head and it bobbles everything enuff light touches the solar panel, how cute its like nodding *pinches*. We went to watch cars after that which was a great show! U ppl should catch it. Its humorous and yet touching ~>.<~ i wanna catch it again!
On sunday Raf and me went to watch RV, i had such a great laugh that i needed to go to the loo, ok that sounded abit obscene but yeah, its one of the nicer movies i have caught this year, to me RV is much better than XMen or The omen (both which i was kinda quite disappointed in =\) we were walking ard and we saw everyone looking down lol guess what we saw!
Lolzers its cute yah , I can't really make out what animal they are or whatever they are suppose to be, but Raf and me decided to settle that they are a bunch of pandas,*giggles* anyway they do have some similarities to the bobbling panda I bought =p
These days supermarket has some of the cutest food ever, look at these two items we found at the Japanese section while shopping for groceries.

I have tried, oh yeah i did asking that guy to update his blog but apparently he hasn't *ROARS*! Been feeling rather wrecked this week, the throat thingy and plus a stupid incident that cost me $80 in medical expenses. So this week basically i spent like $150 on -_-" doctors~
Fish is something i dread and this week or rather this friday it proves to be right, i was eating and minding my own business, and this fishbone decided to hook itself onto my throat. The bad thing is i was having cough and it hurts each time i cough, tried to "fish" it out but somehow not much of a use instead it made it much more worst. So i headed to SGH and had it removed. The doctor was pretty amused i must say coz i was not the first one with fishbone in my throat that day, apprarently she said "i have another case of fishbone here". On my way back i vowed to never look at a fish the same way before, mama was saying that i was pretty much a hazard to myself =x.
Yesterday i went down to marine parade after a long while, to go to the library, Yes!~ you ppl heard it right, library. I borrowed 2 books both authored by Danielle Steel, she is such an inspiring writer, one of few i have to give thumbs up to. I like the way she describes the character and actually makes it feel like we were in that story right there n then and watching each scenes passes. We went for an indulgence in the new Banana Mocha was good! ok maybe i am a banana person. Gonna maybe get it again today XD *drools* than went to print some stuff out n headed to MPH. *big wide grin* Saw filofax, was wondering if i should get it, still wondering now. $80 bucks for an organizer, its taxing on the cash but it might be worth~ But knowing myself i tend to doubt if i would use it that much *blinks*
I made up the organizer that i have for Raf, hehe juz a few words of encouragement >.<" Aight i better get ready to get out of my house. Gonna go back marine parade to develop some photos~ peace out!

It's very difficult to comment this video. The idea isn't really original, it's the same theme of the song, same theme of the original music video.
It's a video about life in general, a confession about life, full of passion, rage, deception, determination, desire to fight, desire to give up. A complete theme, without judgment, just a backward step on the life, nothing else. Some people said me this video is really pessimistic, others said the message is very hopeful. I'm glad this video bring this ambiguity. Like in the real music video, I have put neutral scenes and elements, without explanation or reason... I love it. I have inset also real scenes of the Foo Fighters' singer to keep the side of a real music video.
Hum I don't success to talk about this video, it's a felling I can't explain correctly, watch it, explications aren't necessary for this one ; I hope you enjoy it.
