I have been so hooked to "goong, princesses hours" I like their OST hurhur its nice! you all should catch it... Anyway! Am back from chicago!! its so fun, like way fun! gonna upload the pictures soon, but just not now (too much pictures, 2 memory card >.<)
Niqq, Shuzhen and myself went up to chicago on wednesday, it was somewhat a 4 hour drive, we got kinda lost, and exited on the south end of Chicago, it was somewhat a scary experience, esp when we heard on thursday morning on the news that 2 women is held hostage with a gunmen on the south end of chicago *blinks*. We reached Chicago around 3pm (including the getting process) just in time to check into our hotel, which was at the city center, we were glad at least we made it =p. After resting awhile, we headed down to Gurnee, this outlet mall about 45 min away from Chicago itself. Got there quite late but looted quite a few stuff! *grinz* my oakley shades *grinz grinz*, Banana Republic jacket and a Calvin Klein peacoat which was great! Had Ruby Tuesday for dinner, well i wouldn't say its anywhere great but would do for our poor stomach~~ Got back to the hotel around 11+pm and all of us was pretty much dead tired X_X
Thursday we had a great time, set off out from our hotel, on foot at 12pm walked around took tons of pictures, we went to see espnzone, the infamous chicago's theater, Chicago court house (where lake house was filmed, where Keanue Reeves supposedly got knocked down), there was a German fest there, and we looted a few stuff too!! (shoppoholics!) millenium park, we even walked pass the skating ring which was suppose to be infront of the restaurant that Sandra Bullock waited for Keanue Reeves), we walked around and even went up to the John hancock observatory and had a wonderful view of Chicago by night...
We caught a movie before going down to Aurora, we caught Deja-Vu it was great! I wouldn't say the best, but definately worth watching!!! We reached Aurora at around 11+pm and gosh like there are tons of people, and even a huge long queue outside coach >.<" But oh well Shuzhen and me looted quite abit of stuff *shake head* we realli shop too much, blah! hehe...*grinz*
Chicago is such a beautiful place! Its architecture is just simply wonderful... I hope we will go back there on a longer trip next time round! so much we have yet to see!!!
